In the spirit of racing hem lines are lowered and we aim to bring out our inner lady. I have to admit Stakes day was a rushed outfit but I think it had everything I like in my outfits, monochrome, leather (ish/faux/whatever) a bit of mesh and a sneaky bra.When quizzed as to where my amazing leather skirt was from I answer proudly ‘from asos and its faux leather’. I love a good find and as you know I love my Asos.

Now onto the races and the last hurrah of the festival – Stakes day. A much more chilled day in all ways as it was freezing and raining. My free umbrella, thanks Vogue (which I left at Emirates) did the job and I was happy with my weighty skirt and minimal head wear in the wind. As we did all carnival we spent our day in the amazing Emirates marquee and with the beautiful people at Myer for a dance and a cocktail , or two. Massive thank you to the team at the VRC, Myer and Emirates for having us all week and every year we are so grateful to a part of the carnival. It really is the best time of year in Melbourne and the PR teams and everyone involved work so hard to pull it all together. Props to you all. Also a big thanks to Lisa for snapping me all week and my girl Jess for sending her my way while shooting all week for WWKD.
