A lace skirt seems so feminine and when I usually think of lace it feels way too girly for me – enter the leather jacket and make the lace black. You can use lace for so many looks and quickly turn it from day to night with heels and a silk top. My leather lover is from the H&M icons collection and its seriously one of my best finds. They are on ebay still (isn’t everything?!) but the alternatives below come pretty close and may I add its never too late in the year to purchase a leather jacket especially if you live in Melbourne.

Next up is the stripe skirt. Are you sick of stripes? You will want this skirt. I know ripped denim and stripes should have their own has tag #instauniform but you can’t help what you love and what you are drawn too. Its funny the other day I was scouring ASOS for my next purchase and in the ‘recently viewed’ items summed up my style exactly. Lots of black, white and grey with denim and plaid. I know what I like!
